Hotel Du Vin Avon Gorge

One of the key challenges working on Malmaison hotels is the requirement to ensure part occupation during the programme of works. Hotel Du Vin, Avon Gorge was an entire shell and core refurbishment as well as fit-out project. Acting as Employer’s Agent on the project, performing a role as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Client Representative.

A key role performed as Employer’s Agent was to appoint the appropriate Project Management team including Interior Designers, Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP and other specialist consultancies including appointing Stride Treglown who consulted on the conservation, planning and public consultation for the project. A project team of experts were selected following a full procurement process ensuring that knowledge of the area and of the project was included in the assessment criteria.
