Synopsis

The series is an adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross

Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel And Here Comes the Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which flopped at the box office and forced Lionsgate to scrap a planned sequel, Double Cross.

I somehow found the show more bearable with the same good script and characters

I’ve read a few of the Alex Cross books and found them too terrible for my taste, although I thought they were well-written with good stories and characters.

But the picture is so dark

I have to turn off the entire world in my room and turn the TV on bright mode (I have an LG OLED).

It’s like the people responsible for picture quality have gone out to dinner

The cinematography is great in one respect, but in terms of image brightness it’s so far from all the other series that it’s just confusing me.

If they fix it, it’ll be great
