This project was a sympathetic refurbishment, extension and adaptation of an existing, Grade II Listed 17th Century former smithy and inn. As part of the Ribble Valley Inns expansion programme, involving the acclaimed Michelin Starred chef Nigel Haworth, the existing pub was extensively modernised, with a new oak framed extension to the dining area. Original beams and stone flooring were refurbished and retained throughout, new external dining areas created, and the extensive garden enhanced with new landscaping, planted borders, a herb garden and horse tethers.
